Right now, America is acting like a student losing at dodgeball, getting pummeled in the middle of the gym for everyone to see. And, the only way to overcome this embarrassment of our backsliding democracy is to take action, stand up, take the blows, and refuse to relent. Saving our democracy sounds so grandiose when we're fighting against foreign nations. But, Americans should not shy away from standing up against domestic threats. But, what does this pushback look like?
Well, for starters, Americans need to accept our current circumstances. In November of 2020, more Americans voted than ever before. Voters installed Joe Biden as President, and Kamala Harris broke a glass ceiling to become this nation's first woman Vice President. And since the election, many Republicans denied the facts on the ground. As a result, the Big Lie has only grown in popularity since January 6th.
