As a Black woman, I felt offended that they created a race-neutral show to begin with. Instead of dealing with the racist, class system within the feminist movement, they made a white woman's version of a battle that could never occur in the way it has here.

Furthermore, I felt they missed a moment to bring up the real life handmaidens (Black enslaved women) into the picture. It seems like white feminist fantasy. Overall, I'm glad I watched the show but it was it missed the mark for me.
