As a woman, it concerns me that in efforts to fight against mysogyny they are using her children against her. However, she is the same woman who brags about adopting Black orphans while fighting against the civil liberties of Black people.

Conservativism is a white privilege because only in a country where all your rights are acknowledged can you afford to safeguard the status quo. It's really unfair but until America addresses racial inequality I feel I have no choice but to call it what it is -- racism.

Conservatives fought against the Civil Rights Movement. Democrats, who were originally conservative supported segregation. These efforts are systemic and not indicative of one campaign cycle.

Amy is a mother and no one should persecute her for that. However, I am focused on her ideals, and lack of moral clarity on race and gender equality. I can disagree with the methods they use to critique her while acknowledging her inability to safeguard my civil liberties.
