Bassey, this article should be required reading. Someone is always trying to sell us something. It reminds me of the movie Baby Boy from the early 2000s. The main characters' mom taught him to sell dresses to women. She said that when you are a good salesman, the customer feels lucky and happy. Then she said that when a salesperson is bad they make you feel cheap and no one wants that.

Monthly emails are much better. I get so overwhelmed by my inbox during the COVID era. Also, you are right about fake people. I know Medium has lots of articles recommending how much we should write and how it should look. I get curated often and I don't stick to shorter articles. I just let the words flow and I have fun getting to know all of the people, like you on Medium.
