But how is it "I have a Black friend defense" when the woman actually killed herself after being bullied by the LGBTQ community?

If Candace Owens killed herself, I think the Black community would be sympathetic, especially if it was because of the bullying that occurred because of her not agreeing with us. But the LGBTQ community won't even acknowledge Daphne. Something is definitely wrong there.

Secondly, JK Rowling and Shatner did receive a lot of fallout but what I'm saying is it's not White folks' place (gay or not) to punch down on Black men.

We have Black LGTBQ people in our own community that can address him. And as the link I provided in my comment shows, there are more Black LGBTQ people who support Dave Chapelle. But no one wants to hear from them because it doesn't fit the narrative.

He was right about the double-standard because there are gay racists and we are not allowed to talk about it. The fallout further proves his point.
