Drug addiction is a mental illness. People with no home have no where to store food safely. I find it unlikely that they will use $1 – $5 on drugs. On top of that even drug addicts get hungry and therapy to beat the habit costs money they don’t have. Unfortunately, your friend gave some advice that many people do. It’s sad. But I’m happy you give. Your big heart makes the world a better place.
