Everything white people do to us they always try to deny it. That compounds the pain. They used to deny lynchings until Ida B. Well made it unavoidable in her writings.

This story is sad but very important. Only once people realize how cruel this country treated us will they understand what injustice is. I’m from Louisiana and I grew up hearing my grandparents tell me about this practice. Thanks for writing about this.
