Exactly. and I feel Black people everywhere in the diaspora deserve reparations. Even in the Carribean, they have a separate effort to purse this. So, I think that some people are misunderstanding. No one is trying to take away from other African people, particulary immigrants. Rather, we just know that justice must be specific or else we cannot prove merit.
White people don't want us to distingusih because they know that Black people not born of enslaved ancestors cannot pursue reparations in the states. Maybe I should write an article about this. I def feel inspired afer talkig to you. It's important for them to understand that ADOS is not about dissing immigrants, it's about getting justice for hundreds of years of free labor, sexual abuse, and human trafficking.
