I agreet that Democrats are fundamentally different. Their ideology is based on the pursuit of equality and justice. The diversity does make their party more attractive to me for that reason.

The Republicans are against so many things I believe in. I did not like the whole "build the wall" pursuit. They act like climate change is a hoax, just like they say about COVID. There is also, as you suggested, a racial element to the Republican consciousness. While some want to maintain their own power structure, others are actually full blown racist.

This election, in my opinion, will determine if a small, mostly white minority group will continue to rule over the majority of Americans. Thanks so much for writing this.
