First off, thank you for writing this article. It’s very relevant to the reconfiguration of the party. I am a liberal and I support Medicare for All. It concerns me that she does not support it and wouldn’t let it be voted on. That’s not to say that I dislike Nanci. I think she is very pragmatic and only wants to support bills that she knows there is support for. To change this we could get rid of Nancy. However, the Speaker of the House should represent his or her colleagues and at this point there are more moderate Democrats in the house than liberal ones. As much as I want a leader who will fight for issues I believe in, does the Democratic party have the necessary support to push her out?
