I agree that colorism is a serious issue, even within communities of color. I think that its only naturaly when dark skinned people are being treated horribly, people try to dissassociate. Living in New Orleans, people call you "red" if you have light colored brown skin. I think its important for everyone to accept themselves because the world can be very cruel.
