I agree with your perspective. Redlining created racially segregated neighborhoods. Because school districts receive funding based on property taxes, Black schools and neighborhoods will remain underfunded.

We have to either change how funding is determined or provide some other incentive to provide adequate resources.

You are so right. I wish people that thought like you and me were in charge. States could absolutely equally allocate funds, fixing the problem once and for all. Thanks so much for reading and your thoughtful response. You always make me feel heard, which is rare in this society🖤
