I always learn something new from reading your work. I loved how you connected your experiences with New York social scene to marketing. People will pay what they think something is worth. The funny thing is, usually the seller’s marketing gives them the hint. There was a Payless study I read about where Payless shoe store opened up a new storefront. They jazzed it up and gave it a French name but the same quality shoes. 😂 People did not know the difference because as you said, “people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.” Thanks so much for sharing your gems 💎
