I am 32 years old. I do not have children and I have experienced some of the same microaggressions from mothers and some well-meaning friends. I am married but I do not know what the future holds. I just want to be happy no matter what life brings.

I defintely respect your strength and independence. We have value. Women have value that transcends childbearing.

Mothers are always telling us that we just don't understand what they go through but they rarely try to imagine what it is like on the other side of the coin.

Even if I never have children, I choose to be happy, joyous, and to enjoy my life. Thank you for sharing your story. It had a really positive impact on me.
