I am so happy I found your article. It is so true that during the 90s, everyone acted like we lived in a post-racial society and any time I would bring up race .I was told that I was "Calling the Race Card". This was just an attempt to silence me though. Thanks for writing this. It helps knowing that people understand how racist this world still is.
