I don’t see that as a more effective system because the private market can still increase the cost…

Democratic socialism seeks to provide people with resources through the government. Human-centered capitalism allows resources to stay in the market but provides people with money while also creating a document that shifts how the government measures success further than just GDP which would guide future actions.

I don’t see that as a more effective system because the private market can still increase the cost of living and therefore negate the money people receive. What would stop the private market from doing that ?
