I enjoyed reading about your interviews with Korean shop owners working in Black neighborhoods. You are correct when you say that Black people and Asians have a complicated relationship. I found it refreshing to hear about the positive experiences you and shop owners had. It makes me sad that Koreans experience violence and criminal acts. However, poverty and systematic racism flares up the violence and desperation of people in those environments. I hope that, as you say, we can work towards mutual liberation. White supremacy is the enemy. And we will always be allies.
