I felt the same way growing up. I never took birth control because I was afraid of the hormones. I thought that anything that interferes with my cycle could have adverse effects down the line. Reading this makes me feel solid about my decision.

It’s not fair that women take these health risks and the men involved get to benefit from this scenario without taking health risks of their own. Thanks for writing this.
