I have friends who are white, so I know for a fact that not all white people are racist. In fact, that proved you don’t actually read my work because you would understand that already. I never wrote anything that said that all white people were racist. Not enough white people are anti racist and many are in denial about the impact of systematic racism. Those are the facts.

You are just angry because I am writing about racism. It makes you feel uncomfortable but that’s not my problem. I don’t have anything against a white person if they fight for equal rights and remedying the wrongs caused by colonialism.

I do not have an obligation to like white people who are either racist or do not like me. I have many friends of all races but my white friends do not deny racism so I get along just fine with them. You decide for yourself which one you want to because I never said an unkind word to you.

Furthermore, I have every right to feel camaraderie with an Asian person or any other minority because we experience things that white people do not. You really need to reflect on why you felt the need to send such a rude, condescending message.
