Yea, I did not feel an ounce of sympathy because ultimately, when you spend your entire career lying and causing harm to others, you can't expect that none of that negatively will come back your way. Glad Trump is not dead simply because I wouldn't want them to have martyr. But you were right, that a presidential assassination attempt doesn't mean someone will win. As you pointed out, history doesn't indicate that.
