I love your article. It captures the feelings of all black people when someone wants to touch our hair. It makes me so angry just thinking about it. A co-worker once told me, "Your dreads smell so clean". There was an assumption that because I have dreadlocks, I am not clean or that my hair style is incapable of being clean. Uugh
