I loved reading your article. You broke it down perfectly. I have often thought about the differences between generations of black people and how those differences influence our fight for justice. Each generation had different struggles and made change in their own way. However, you emphasized that our differences does not have to stop us from moving forward together.

Our differences can be our strength if we allow it to be. My mother and I are from two different generations. I was born in 1988 and I feel am a big structural change type person. She has often told me that she is afraid of fighting with white people over our rights at times. You mentioned that some are afraid of losing progress. I agree. However, we both work together to fight for the change we want to see, regardless of our differences.

Thank you for your message of positivity and strength.
