I never said we could or should cleanse the language. What I'm saying is that the word "thug" has a racial connotation to it, and that cannot disappear.

According to Rosetta Stone, English is a Germanic Language. I'm not making things up. I'm dealing with the facts.

I never said that we should remove any words from the English language. My entire article made the argument that white people should not use racial slurs to referring Black men. That's it. Whatever else you got from it is not something I can help with.

Some Africans sold African people into slavery, but that was only after European conquests; it was wartime tragedy. In the same way, some Jews sold out their people.

I thought you were anti-racist, but now I see you are trying to justify slavery and blame Africans for their own enslavement. That's unfortunate.

Now, you wonder if I can handle a conversation as if I am feeble-minded or something.

It's odd because you start off with some educated, interesting points and then land firmly on insults.

So, to answer your question, yes, I can handle a discussion about this. If you actually read my article about Africans reclaiming their culture, I wrote about the African role in the slave trade. So, what is the point you are truly trying to make?

I've made my point clear as day. White people do not need to call Black people thugs. It's racist, and it refers back to the Indian genocide carried out by British conquerors.
