I really do not see America as capable of healing because it refuses to address racial inequality. Thus, even when the rest of Americans felt that things were fine, many minorities suffered.

Trump is a symptom but America is a diseased body. Even if Biden wins, we have so much work to do and its really tough to think about this sort of thing.

I don't even think healing can happen as long as we try to live alongside racist, sexist, homophobic people. We cannot just accept hatred and I think that's why this is really scary.

You are right about the body not being capable of healing everything. I think the original sin of America is rearing its ugly heads.
