I think that the owner should have handles this differently. Throughout most of my 20s I managed French Quarter restaurants and I would never speak to customers like this.

I have seen customers get drunk and dance on tables (white ones) and I always asked, "Can you please get off the furniture. It's against our policy," and I never had someone decline.

He wanted to embarrass them and when he said he wanted to be careful of how "we all look" he was referring to Black people.

Within our community, many Black people get embarrassed when we demonstrate elements of Black culture.

I hope that he learns from the experience and becomes a better manager. Putting down these women was not the right way to go about it in my humble opinion.
