I thought a lot like you. Why do we have to wait til after a disaster is over to get help when it’s obvious that giving people money to evacuate or helping them to evacuate would keep more people safe? As usual, the cruelty is the point.

We had an evacuation plan but each parish has to be evacuated in order to avoid a traffic jam. The mayor dropped the ball and failed to pull the trigger and refused to open shelters. Folks are desperate for aid all because of their carelessness.

My mom said that you have to drive to Mississippi to get gas. The panic of the storm caused people to buy it all up so many people couldn’t leave because of the reasons you stated. Thanks so much for reading and your support. 💜
