I was also utterly amazed that this story was so under reported. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. Too often, black women are abused without any consequences.

In this particular story, I remember that the exposed her breasts and choked her. They even threatened to break her arm. it was absolutely horrible. Yet, it seems like no one wanted to defend a black woman in the same way.
