If colorism is not real then why do Black people in Africa and the Caribbean use skin-lightening cream?

Colorism doesn’t just refer to a lack of confidence. It refers to a system that places Black people at a disadvantage romantically and socioeconomically.

You seem to think you can pick and chose how people treat you and that’s not the case.
