If white people are willing to turn a blind eye to the President retweeting "White Power" I don't think those are the ones Democrats should be working to win over.

Democrats have not won the white vote since Lindon Johnson. After the Dems supported and helped to pass the Civil Rights Act, white people never came back to the party in totality.

Remember that was the same election cycle that MLK Jr died. Nixon ran on a law and order presisent. That was used as a justification to hurt Black people. Anyone who does not see that does not need to join the Democratic party.

We want Republicans and Independents but not the ones turning a blind eye to racism towards Black, Hispanic, Jewish, and Indigenous people.
