It is so sad that we live in a world where this little boy feels the threat of poilce violence. He is so young. However, I know he will have to have the same conversation with his son because that is the world we live in. It is not going to change in one lifetime. Hopefully, over time things will change. However, this only happens if we continue to fight for legislation that actually facilitates policing reform.

Black people cannot stop the world from hating us but it can make the violence associated with that hate illegal. Thanks for writing this piece.
