I've based on my entire life trying to avoid white-dominated spaces. It's always been my stance to live in neighborhoods where Black and Brown people are the majority. They treat me better at the grocery store and really everywhere. I admire Black people who have the courage to move to their spaces but I can understand the stress involved in making the move.

Sorry about the robbery that happened in your neighborhood. You deserve better. The people in this neighborhood really don't treat Black people as equal and they should be ashamed.

So glad your husband and you are not going to deal with this again. We deserve better. Thanks for sharing your story♥︎
