I’ve talked to my friends about this many times. You are absolutely right. People are taking a few isolated instances and making assumptions, spreading hatred. I’ve had my friends tell me its wrong for me to go to Asian nail shops. I will never listen. As an ESL teacher, some of my students are Chinese and they love me. Their parents treat me with respect and I’ve never felt bad in any interactions with them. So, I’m not going to assume that Asian people from any country dislike black people. We are all in this together and some people are trying to divide up non-white people. It won’t work.
