Like you, I've had to get handle of using SLACK. I use the All Unreads to get caught up. But sometimes, I accept that I can't read anything so I use certain channels to target my interactions. For example, I usually check in with the #chitchat channel but often ignore some channels. Like you, I use the SLACK App for more than one workplace. So, it's a challenge to keep up with everything that everyone says. But, I also like the mentions tab so that I can know I didn't ignore anything specifically intended for me.
