Many people have portrayed riots as antithetical to fight for Civil Rights, while King and others discussed it's place. Oppressors will not voluntarily relenquish their power. Thus, uprisings will occur within the movement. Asking to be treated with respect and dignity has not been effective. Freedom must be fought fo. Thank you for writing this article.
