No one's life should be worth more than another's life. By that logic, how many have been killed by Israel, and how many have been killed by Palestinians since this recent conflict heightened tensions?

The answer to that question highlights the irony of the title. It's obvious that the Israeli government thinks that over 33,360+ Palestinians are worth the lives of 1,200 Israeli people killed by terrorists on October 7th. Meaning that currently, one Jewish life is worth 252.8 Palestinian lives statistically. That's what the reality of this conflict is showing. But, that number is rising. Ultimately, it's clear that Jewish people's lives are being valued more from a sociopolitical standpoint. It's hard to make a plausible argument that the opposite is happening.

How much is a dead Jew worth? The same as a dead Palestinian. Ideally, neither would be pit against the other. So, why are our nations' policies not reflective of that stance, that Palestinians and Jewish people in Israel and throughout the world deserve to live in peace? That their lives matter?

And why are people who claim to care about Israeli hostages trying to convince us that we need to kill even more Palestinian civilians to bring them home? It's all rather disturbing to me. But, that's just my two cents. I'm just one person.
