Racism is more than bias. It is an element of oppression. So no a Black woman is not racist for not wanting a white guy. If she feels that way she is acting with implicit bias.

Also you drew the wrong conclusion from the article. Go back and you will see I said that it is only wrong for a white man to date a Black woman if he fails to address the systematic racism she experiences. There are many happy biracial couples and I know a few. My point is that too often white men fetishize Black women.

Consider the difference between bias which everyone has and racism which derives a system of oppression. A child is biased to certain foods or toys or family members. But a child does not have control and thus is not bigoted for their selections.

A white man can view his mother and wife as the epitome of beauty but it only becomes racist through overt acts or by supported oppressive systems of government. In other words, only white men who are true allies should date Black women.
