Right, you and your husband decided to live where people respected and accepted you. That's what I would have done too. Sorry that you experienced this level of racism. I've always been scared to go to Switzerland after how they treated Oprah. Learning about your experiences confirms much of what I've heard. See, since I'm from the South in the United States, I'm used to experiencing overt racism. Nevertheless, I am usually in a diverse area. Black people are everywhere. In your situation, you experience racism far way from support from other Black people. And, I'm sorry you had to go through that. Glad your family is safe and away from these looney people.
