Seems like you just want to bicker but okay, I'll bite:

"Well, what difference does it make if you are black or any other color for that matter my love, I don’t really care what they think. You are my girlfriend, soon to be my wife, and they don’t have any other choice but to accept you”.

See, when he said that her color did not matter and told her that he accepted her no matter what and wanted to marry her -- that is support. He could have not said any of these things, making the situation even more horrible. He did not stand up for her but I did not say he stood up for her. He supported her. You are entitled to your opinion but I really don't understand what it is you want.
