She is definitely a mixed race woman. However I always call someone what they feel comfortable calling themselves. She refers to herself as Black, African American, Indian American, and biracial. I think all these labels are fine as long as they don’t contradict what a person views themselves as. Either way, this is an amazing win for women of color. I’m happy we got this done. Hope Trump and Pence get out their way.
