So, now you are stretching. Where did I say it was the best form of support?

That is what most white people do-- they only defend you in private. That's why I only dated one white guy in my life. I'm not knocking others who choose to do so. However, I have found that them respecting Black women 100% is very rare.

He gave support the best the son of some racists could. I was trying to be positive and not make her feel like crap about her experience. I took a moment where I felt she had some support and I mentioned it as a silver lining in the experience. However, you are free to feel however you want.

I did not say it was the "best" form of support though. It obviously isn't. A man with a spine would have stood up for her and said "let's go" but that's not how these situations usually go.
