Thank you for writing this article. When Black people fight for their rights, they are often seen as disruptive. In America, white people have been the protagonists of the story. Until that changes, Black people will always be treated as disruptive forces wtihin the community. Bethel, Ohio has a problem with racism just as many towns do. To deny it saying "It's not a bad, backwards, evil place," is an excuse. That's like saying, "I can't be racist. I have a black friend". Instead of living in denial, they should confront the probelm within their community.
