The example you used is not an example of playing the race card. She has the right to compare the treatment of her husband to a lynching — she’s Black so she can do that. Personally, if he hurt those women, then what they did to him (arresting and exposing him) was absolutely necessary. This is an example of someone who loves their husband and sees they don’t treat white sexual abusers with the same tone and tenor. The justice system is disyoked to disproportionally help white men. I hope I’ve helped to explain my perspective a bit on this. Thanks for contributing to the convo.
