The IQ test is the first standardized test. The current ACT and SAT tests derive from the American IQ test which was created based on the original, French version. The test was only designed to test for homogenous groups and as I demonstrated, the original creator warned against the over-application of this test for non-homogenous groups. All of these tests that students take are standardized tests. Standardization is a process, not a type of test. Hope I was able to address this question.
