The men offended by WAP are being hypocrites. It seems that when men talk about sex there is no outrage. Their perspective tries to monitor Black women's freedoms. I think the song is for adults only. Throughout the song, the lyrics talk about women owning their own sexuality - "I tell him where to put it never tell him where I"m bout to be". It's very crude. I admit that. But I think it's okay for women to express themselves. We should defintely not let children listen to it but most parents don't let their kids to listen to explicit songs anyway. I loved reading your article. You are right. Every generation goes through the same thing.
