The test architects do not need to be racist to create a racist test. I never said the test was not racist. I indicated that their implicit bias created a racist test. Their perception of what intelligence is founded in a definition that is not set in stone.

In addition, Binet indicated that these standardized tests were never supposed to be used for non-homogenous groups. Students taking these tests, in America are too diverse for this type of test to not reveal the implict bias of the test architects.

My opposition to the tests rests in two areas:

  1. The definition of intelligence is contested and they use the one that they ideologically agree on. It does not make it significant.
  2. These tests are being used for non-homogenous groups.

The scores of Black people and Hispanic people show the racial bias. It is just an assessment of the facts. People can decide for themselves if they want to make a more just testing system for all students or not. The choice to believe or think what you may is entirely up to you. Thanks for taking the time to read and also respond.
