The United States has to reckon with white supremacy once and for all. The Germans banned the Nazi flag and I think that we should outlaw the Confederate flag. White supremacy should never gain acceptance and unfortunately, Trump's presidency showed just how dominant these conditions remain in our society.

I felt heartbroken as I watched them break in, chasing a Black officer around. Their actions got that woman killed and an officer too. It's just insane to watch it happen. I did not want to watch but I did.

I hope that we work on calling them out. Because what I fear most is that the majority of them will skate past with no consequences, emboldening their movement. Thanks so much for reading. I know these are dark times but we will overcome. I still have hope but it's just cautiously optimistic.
