Their ability to control the narrative is the most mind-boggling thing. But I think that it means we are out numbered. There are more of them than us. And it seems that when they put out a stale ass narrative to avoid responsibility, these people cling on to it.

You know they always say progressives use the wrong approach but at least it's an honest one. We want real, structural change and they try to gas light us into thinking it's wrong to want that change. That it's improper to even discuss it. In a way, this is what I was afraid of during the Biden era -- that complacency would rule the day. Even during Obama's presidency, he did not speak often about race. I hope that we can make some actual change because I'm trying to cling to optimism against all odds.
