There is definitely enough backward thinking to stymie progress.

If anti-racism is wrong in the local governments' eyes, then racism is being normalized once again.

This is why we need federal policies that codify the Civil Rights Act. Too many people think it is viable to have racist ideals.

I think their statement is helpful because it ensures that Black people and other people of color feel comfortable and safe seeking help.
