This article motivates me to keep fighing against the misogynoir in our community.

Black women deserve respect and we need our Civil Rights battle to marry the Black Power movement holistically.

They refused to press charges on the officers who so recklessly jeopordized her life and the lives of others.

She died and yet they act like her life did not matter. The pain from this will never go away. I cannot speak for anyone else but this incident lit a fire under me. I will continue to fight. Thanks for writing this series. It is amazing.
