This article played upon an important point. White people are not on trial here -- racism is. I know that if more people understood this, they would fight for racial equality.

White abolitionists and union soldiers gave their lives to fight against slavery and racism.

Over 1,000 white people were lynched in the South for defending Black people. We need justice for everyone who was victimized by racist bullies in this country.

As a Black person, I never want white people to feel that their whiteness is under attack because together there is nothing we cannot accomplish.
